The day we filled our town with plush!

If you are reading this blog, then I'm guessing that you are already a fan of all things plush, but you may have noticed that not everyone understands this fascination! As a true fan I have been doing what I can to introduce the people around me to this wonderful world.

One way that I have done this is through running Plush Making Workshops for my friends and for young people. I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina and work for a youth organisation called Novi Most. As part of my work I run weekly art and craft workshops for 10-18 year olds.

A friend and I had an idea to have a day where we fill our town with art and give it away to the passing public. All the art that was exhibited through the town was made at workshops that we ran in the weeks leading up to the big day.

Sock cats, owls, flowerbeds filled with crocheted flowers, plush mermaids and fairies were among the many things exhibited that day.

The public loved it and many people went home with a smile on their face and a piece of plush in their hands.

I hope you enjoy looking at the photos and that it inspires you to do something to spread a little happiness and a lot of plush wherever you live!
