Plush Hoarders

When I was a kid, I had baby-sized bunk beds next to my own bed that were crammed full of all my softies and dollies (and sometimes the family cats). I also had 3 overflowing shelves on the wall opposite the bed. So I guess you can say I've always been a bit of a hoarder of soft, fuzzy things.

Though my collection may not be as big as it once was, I'd like to think it's a lot more refined. Truly sentimental pieces mixed with my own pieces and ones made by artists I admire (including many Plush Teamers!). I'm doing my best to keep my collection confined to my studio, so I really have to exercise my willpower all. the. time. That said, I've managed to tuck little lovelies into every corner, nook, and cranny within the studio. One of my favorite parts is the wall of plush next to the sewing table.

All of these photos were taken in my old studio, though. I just moved, and am very much looking forward to creating a bigger, better wall of plush in the new studio! Maybe I can start treating myself to a few more wonderful pieces each year.
