The Plush Team is a group of artists who sell Etsy.com and are committed to supporting the creative and professional develop of its members. The Plush Team works to further the promotion and creative development of dolls, stuffed toys and all the soft areas in between.
The Plush Team creates a number of challenge contests throughout the year. These contests are designed to challenge the creativity of members. Items are then sold in a group store with a portion of the proceeds going to the team to assist in paying of operating costs.
The Plush Team works with Etsy.com and outside Etsy to promote the team collectively and its individual members. Promotions include: Etsy forums, treasuries, articles and coordination with Etsy administration for future opportunities.
The Plush Team also works with outside media outlets by acting as a central communication point for persons or groups with opportunities for the team and/or its members.
Plush Team membership is based on a number of criteria.
1. All members are required to pay a $20.00 yearly fee.
2. The Plush Team offers open application for membership four times per calender year, at the beginning of each quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1).
3. Application will consist of a store review by the Plush Team membership committee.
4. If invited to become a member of the Plush Team, you will be asked to pay the $20.00 fee. You will be given access to the team flickr account and all other benefits of membership as they develop.
